US Tour Preview

I'm very excited to give you a sneak preview of my forthcoming project with regular collaborator and friend David Lyttle. David has been given a major award from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. This grant will fund a US tour, the details of which we have been planning for well over a year.

It's only a few days till we leave, so I thought I'd let you year about some of what we have planned. The trip lasts 30 days, and will take place over the month of April. During this time we will be travelling from Los Angeles right across to New York, stopping at everywhere in between. I'm really looking forward to the performances. We will be performing in established arts venues, as well as some more unusual performance environments! I'm really looking forward to collaborating with lots of exciting musicians, and making lots of new friends! We will be vlogging the trip for MOBO Awards, so you can keep up to date with the trip on their YouTube channel MOBO TV.


I must also acknowledge the support of Arts Council England, who have very generously supported my involvement in the project. I will be using their support to make contacts, and compose music based on the experiences, which will form the basis for my next album, set to be recorded in December 2017.
